Ft. Riley Child, Youth & School Services recognizes the challenges of our Soldiers and their Families. By offering quality programs for children, youth and students, CYS services support the Army Family Covenant by reducing the conflict between mission readiness and parental responsibility. Child, Youth, School Services is an integral part of the Army mission. CYS services support the Soldier which in turn enhances Army readiness.

Upcoming Events
Youth Sports and Fitness Outdoor Adventure Ice Skating Kansas City Crown Center For Grades 3-12, November 15 from 1-9pm. Registration Deadline is November 11. Register at CYS Central Registration Office, BLDG 6620, 239-9885/4847 from Noon-5pm. Registration Fee is $10. Transportation will be provided from the Teen Center, Bldg 5800 to the KC Crown Center and back. Entrance to the ice rink will be provided. Children must bring money for food. For more information contact the Youth Sports office at 239-9223/9200.
Free Childcare
Dec.6 & 20, Jan 10&24, Feb. 7&21 from 9am-1pm. Free hourly care at Warren Rd CDC & SAS, Bldg. 5810, for children of deployed Soldiers. Lunch will be served at 11:30am. Reservations are required by noon each Thrusday prior to the Saturday opening.

Current Child Development Programs:
Normandy CDC– building 6620 A/B. (6 weeks- 36 months) Full-day care.
Normandy CDC- building 6620 Full-day preschool and pre-kinder program.
Family Child Care (FCC) – (4 weeks-12 years) FCC homes offer full-day, hourly, part-time, and extended care. Take a tour of FCC homes at www.armyfcc.com. Contact CER or the FCC office for your username and password.
Centers anticipated to open in January- March 09 timeframe:
The Forsyth CDC (6 weeks-5 years) will be located in the Forsyth housing area near the commissary. This facility will be used to expand infant, pre-toddler, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten spaces.
