Log your fitness and MWR activities throughout the year! Fit for life is a fitness based program designed to help you lose weight, get fit, relieve stress, have fun and win prizes. Sign up for the program online and get your activity log. Log four hours per week of fitness, forty eight hours during a three month period and be entered to win a getaway vacation or other great prizes. All logs must be turned into fitness office for verification. Free program. See website for details.
Fitness Information:
Some classes require punch cards. Cards can be purchased in fitness or sports office, Mon -Thu 8am-6pm and Fri until 4pm. Cash will not be accepted at class time. Punch cards are $20 for 10 Fitness Classes. Trial Cards are available for $3 (1 Class).
All classes are located at King Field House, Bldg 202, Main Post, Fort Riley. Check King Field House or the Fort Riley web calendar for a current fitness class schedule. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to lack of participation. Classes & schedule are subject to change.

Ab Force I
This class is an intense 30 minute workout that focuses on strengthening the abdominals and back.
Rowbics
Starting in April! Utilize the Concept 2 rowing machines to get a total body workout. This class will help you reach aerobic fitness standards combined with a strength component different from any other workout.
SPINNING
Wheel your way to a fitter you! If you are looking for a cardio workout, ride with us! Spinning simulates real cycling terrain in the group fitness setting. Indoor cycling with music and company - how could you not enjoy the ride?
Interval Boot Camp
A combination of cardiovascular drills and strength conditioning, followed by an abdominal workout. This class will keep your heart and your muscles pumping for a total body workout.
Circuit Breaker
This class is made up of aerobics and muscle conditioning station intervals. Work at your own speed. It provides a different workout every week.
PiYo
A combination of Pilates & yoga for 30 minutes to promote flexibility & relaxation while toning the muscles. PiYo classes may have a strength, relaxation, balance or flexibility focus to challenge beginners and advanced members.
Ballet: Strengthen & Stretch
Combines many of the same principles of yoga and Pilates but with a skill component! The ballet strengthens & stretches the muscles, challenges balance, & improves posture.
Modern Dance
A unique class aimed at expression though movement. Experience fitness in a new way while having fun!
PowerMIX
Classes are free and open to all patrons. Five class formats that rotate at 6:30am on Tuesday and Thursday. This class provides the variety of types needed to avoid plateaus and maximize results. Maximum numbers of participants are set depending on the class format (based on equipment availability). Specific classes and participation levels can be located on the fitness calendar. Classes are conducted on a “first come, first serve” basis. Class formats include: Circuit Breaker, Interval Boot Camp, PiYo, Turbo Kick, and Step Aerobics. Check the class calendar for the specific format.
Fitness Assessments & Body Compositions: Pinpoint your current fitness & body status in order to set short and long term goals. Assessment sessions are for both the new exerciser and the seasoned fitness individual. The session will involves body composition, cardio endurance testing, flexibility testing as well as muscular strength and endurance testing. Strictly body composition testing can also be scheduled with the fitness staff. To register in advance call 239-3146.
Fitness Programs:
Fort Riley's Biggest Loser: DoD card holders can take part in this six-month health promotion program. Employers devote 3 hours of work time per week to fitness and health for six months. The fitness department keeps track of your progress as you establish healthy habits. Although this session is currently at capacity, a new session will begin in July 2010.

Massage:
Shammy McQuay at 785.477.2448. Massages are conducted at Long Fitness Center. Payments can be made by check at Long Fitness Center or by credit card, cash or check at King Field House within the fitness/sports office hours.
Payments for personal training and massage must be received prior to the appointment. Pay in fitness or sports office at King Field House during business hours Monday-Friday.
