Outdoor Recreation Center rents a variety of equipment for outdoor activities. Including; camping equipment, tables and chairs, Inflatable children’s toys, grills, campers, ice cream cart, dunk tank, archery equipment, lawn activity sets, canoes, kayaks, boat equipment, Bass
and Pontoon boats. With both package deals, daily rates (24 hours) and weekend rates.

Join us for a ride through the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas. Riders must be 12 or older and riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  (Each ride will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.)

Learn the basics of canoeing and make the most of your next canoe trip. Spend part of the time in the classroom and part of the time on the water. Stop by ODR for a full agenda.

Bike Trip

Want to enjoy a bike ride but don’t have a bike or a way to transport a bike?

Join us on a 9 mile round trip ride on the Republican River and lunch at the spill way pond. 

Canoe Trip
May 15
$15 per person
Join us for a canoe trip down one of the scenic rivers located in the area. Pack alunch and bring a friend. River route willbe determined based on current waterlevels. Stop by Outdoor Recreation for more information and to check out our possible routes.

Customers 21 and older who want to rent a watercraft must complete a Fort Riley Boaters Safety requirements, for more details contact Outdoor Recreation or the Fort Riley Marina. Patrons under the age of 21 must complete the Kansas State Boater Safety Course online or in person. 

Jet ski rentals require an additional safety review and a mandatory test will have to be passed by all patrons. All are available on a first come, first served basis. No reservations will be accepted. Multiple boats will not be issued to one customer. Each boat rented must be to a Boater Safety Card holder. The customer who rents a boat may be held financially liable for items that are lost, damaged, or destroyed by causes other than fair wear and tear. Marina property is for personal use only to the person it is issued. Customers will not allow unauthorized persons to use or operate government property.
