CYS Army Family Covenant Discounts

All children with a deployed parent are eligible to receive the following fee discounts beginning 1 Oct 07:

Free Annual CYS registration.  This is a pre-requisite to use other services.  An appointment is required.

Free respite child care up to 16 hours per month per child.  This free care may be obtained through the following programs:

**Free Saturday Deployment Care, two four hour sessions monthly in the Child Development and School Age Services Centers.

**Free Hourly Care in the Child Development Center, School Age Services, or Family Child Care.  Reservations must be made in advance at the center or the FCC office.  Availability is limited.

Hourly care above the 16 hours free respite will be charged at $2.00 per hour.

20% Reduction in child care fees for services beginning in Oct (excluding hourly care). 

Two free sports registrations per child per family per deployment.  This includes soccer, baseball, basketball and volleyball programs.

Four free instructional classes per child for maximum duration of eight weeks each.  Regular fees will apply after eight weeks.

Deployment orders required to receive discounts outlined on this flier and receive 16 hours punch card (Cards will not be replaced, Punch Card required on the day of care)

Access to child care services and discounts may be coordinated directly with the CDC or SAS centers for those already registered with CYS.  Sports and Instructional Program registrations can be made at the Central Enrollment Registration (CER) office. Those not registered with CYS are strongly encouraged to make an appointment by calling 239-9885 and pick up required paperwork in advance. All persons requesting Army Family Covenant Discounts must provide a copy of current Deployment Orders. Discounts are not retroactive.
