The SFAC Child and Youth Services

Leaders at all levels know that the strength of Soldiers comes from the strength of their Families. CYS Services is committed to helping leaders build a partnership with Army Families that enhances their strength and resilience.

Respite Child Care
Respite Child Care offers a temporary break or time away for parents. Sixteen hours of free child care per month per child are provided for deployed Soldiers and civilians throughout the deployment cycle.
For more information click here.

CYS Services provides services to Warriors in Transition (WT) and Army Wounded Warriors (AW2) on-site at the Soldier and Family Assistance Center (SFAC).  For additional information, click here for the WTB brochure.

The CYS Services SFAC Liaison supports WT and AW2 families in the following ways:

Informing families of available childcare services, child/youth activities, youth instructional classes, respite care opportunities, reduced fee services, and free services.

Conducting CYS Services registrations, both on-site and off-site when necessary, as well as, instructional class and youth sports enrollments.

Facilitates transitions to and from other installations, allowing for childcare to be available when the soldier arrives at new duty station.
